Tom Tivol is one of the most respected jewelers in the Kansas City area, with decades of experience working with diamonds, colored gemstones, pearls, and fine jewelry design. As a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America and a longtime educator, Tom brings both technical expertise and a passion for teaching to every client interaction.

For more than 40 years, Tom has helped clients across the United States understand, select, and create meaningful jewelry through a process that is personal, transparent, and educational.

Tom’s connection to jewelry began at an early age, learning alongside his grandfather and continuing through generations of family expertise. He later joined his family’s business, Tivol, Inc., where he eventually served as president and helped build it into one of the most recognized jewelry stores in the country.

In 2005, Tom opened his own practice to focus on a more personal, client-centered experience. Today, he works directly with every client and remains hands-on in every aspect of the business.
